DESCRIPTION: MARKETING SPECIALIST uses creativity, analytical thinking, and social metrics to sell products and services. He/She has a burning desire to try new things in order to reach Ideyatech’s target market. He/She has the creativity to figure out unique ways of driving growth and generating sales in addition to testing/evolving the techniques proven by the company. He/She also takes responsibility for increasing sales growth and an entrepreneurial drive. QUALIFICATIONS: • 1-3 years full time experience working in online marketing / data analysis or recent college graduates with relevant marketing internship experience at technology / startup companies • BS in a technology or BA in a business related field. • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as an understanding of emerging technologies. • Able to interact with both technical and non-technical people. • Passionate about Internet marketing and emerging web technologies in an entrepreneurial environment. • Innate interest in learning about customers behavior through both numbers and qualitative data • Basic understanding of statistics • Decent Excel skills – know how to do pivot tables, SQL knowledge a big bonus • Sufficient graphic editing skills to be able to modify graphics to create test variations RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensures basic and technical SEO best practices are in place on client websites and executes long-term SEO campaigns. • Strengthens clients’ social following and engagement • Creates targeted online campaigns that drive engagement, revenue and leads • Conducts thorough competitive and market research • Set up, QA and run A/B tests • Set up, QA and run usability tests • Works with their team to execute marketing plans within allotted timeframe • Builds Company’s campaigns that utilize workflows, landing pages and emails. • Stays up to date on the latest industry trends • Completes special projects assigned by management • Engage in Social Media marketing activities • Identify opportunities for new client features and optimizations • Ensure tests get up and running, and interpret results and present them to management without bias
